Scanlon Creek: March 26, 2022

DO NOT WEAR YOUR CADET UNIFORM – CIVILIAN CLOTHES ONLY!!

  • Complete COVID SAQ
  • Arrival 0830 (8:30am) with a parent who can not leave until cadet is signed in with a volunteer
  • Bring a mask (just in case indoors requires one), peanut free lunch/snacks, water bottle
  • Dress for the weather – layers, touque (winter hat), winter gloves, warm jacket
  • It is muddy – rain boots or winter boots. Do not wear running shoes!
  • Departure 1400 (2:00pm) – cadet leaves with a parent.  If another person is picking up your cadet, we must be told at arrival.  We will not release your cadet to unauthorized adults.
  • Cadets who turned 12 years old as of Jan 1, 2022 do not need to show proof of vaccination.  Simcoe County has a 12 week grace period for vaccinations.  As of April 2022, Scanlon Creek is allowed to remove this requirement on their day camps!

Our program is for youth ages 9-12 years old. It teaches them leadership, community support, and gives them a sense of camaraderie in a time needed most for their well being. As we slowly and protectively bring our Corps back to personal training, we need your support to allow us to run the training our cadets are used to with day camps, supplies, and team building activities.

Training Night: November 25, 2021

Bravo Division will meet IN PERSON at the Ship; 18:45 – 20:30.

Things to Bring
TRAINING POUCH (a must for the materials needed that evening)
Cadet t-shirt and ball cap
DRY EMPTY plastic water bottle or pop bottle, 500ml (NOT YOUR REUSABLE water bottle- we will be using it for a craft)
Black permanent marker
We will be doing some crafty items, Christmas cards for the Troops, and if time allows some drill practice!

Alpha Division will be ONLINE for a movie night. Get your popcorn ready!

Georgina Military Museum – November 11, 2021 at 18:45

Reminder: There will be no virtual training this Thursday, November 11 as we will be meeting at the Georgina Military Museum at 18:45.
